Dr. Dayna Baxter is originally from Boston, MA but made the long journey to TX in 2003 in order to attend one of the nation’s top 5 vet schools, Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her training in 2009 with high honors and has called Houston home ever since. Dr. Baxter worked in general and emergency practice from 2009-2013 before opening up Hampshire Mobile Vet. She has special interests in clinical and anatomic pathology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging.

When Dr. Baxter is not working, she spends time with her family including her husband, 3 children, 3 dogs, 2 rabbits and 7 hens. She enjoys traveling and volunteering in the community.

Chad Henderson – Veterinary technician

Chad is a native Houstonian and has worked as a veterinary technician for 12 years and has been with HMV since we opened in 2013. Chad is currently with us part time as he is also studying to become a Respiratory Therapist at the Pima Institute of Houston. He is a Leo and enjoys long walks on the beach.

Maria Pettit – Veterinary technician

Maria originally moved to Houston from Ohio a few years ago, and has thoroughly enjoyed experiencing winters without snow, and being an avid Buckeyes fan. Maria began working in the pet care industry at Rover Oaks, where she first heard of Dr. Baxter and Hampshire Mobile Vet!  She is excited to join the team as a part time receptionist and technician with ambitions to advance her career in veterinary medicine.  Maria lives with her two bully mixes, Pancakes and Luna, both who harbor the dearest ambition of finally catching up to a squirrel. She is looking forward to getting to work closely with clients, patients, and team members providing excellent medical care, and getting to see pets treated comfortably and compassionately in their own homes!
